Certification

ACA is honored that you are considering archival certification. Our members find that certification is important for increasing career opportunities and strengthening the integrity of our profession. Certification ensures a standard of excellence in historical preservation and access to primary resources and collections.

2023 Dates

  • Application Period: The application period typically runs from March 1 through April 30 each year.
  • Exam: June 15 - 17, 2023
